I just wanted to email to say thank you for your Status 570 kit. I visited the Caravan Show at the NEC in February and spoke with your team, who showed me both the 570 kit and the new power filter you had developed. It was also great to speak with the gentleman who put it all together in your team, something that feels increasingly rare these days.
I especially liked the fact that it could replace our existing antenna without needing any additional wiring or cutting into the caravan, meaning it still looks factory fitted and is genuinely something anyone can install. Compared to other kits, it’s also always there, with no extra items to set up or suction pads to attach to the outside of the van on each trip. The fact that it’s made in the UK is another big plus for me.
I bought a kit at the show and installed it in our caravan, replacing our existing Vision Plus antenna. In less than 30 minutes it was all up and running, including setting up my wireless configuration.
Over Easter we stayed at Rendlesham Campsite. It’s a lovely site, however the mobile signal is very poor, something they even mention in their welcome information, which can be bliss when you’re away on holiday depending on how you look at it! On my iPhone 17 Pro Max, using the same mobile network, the best signal I could achieve was EDGE. With the Status 570 installed, however, we were getting speeds of 5–10 Mbps. Whilst not a slight on the iPhone it does show how good the external antenna systems are from Vision Plus even when their is little to no signal! I was particularly pleased with this, as it meant we were able to stream the Artemis II launch live without any issues.

My family and I are looking forward to years of caravaning with great wifi, thank you!

Disconnected and reconnected, all of the connections including the coax from the wall socket to the - retuned and all is well

Embarrassingly it may have been the short lead from the socket to the tv !

So .. was testing the van Tv 3 days ago and found the remote wasn’t working. I changed the batts and it still didn’t work and thought it might be the tv . Googled the website for VisionPlus and rang them .. amazingly the call was answered in seconds and got to speak an actual human called Mark who was really helpful. He talked me through a couple of tests to find if the problem was the tv remote receiver or the hand set . He said
If you hold the camera of your phone to view the remote sender you’ll see it flashing if it’s working .. you can’t see it with the naked eye ! Anyway it wasn’t flashing. He then said he’s just missed the post but will send out a new remote free of charge… wow ! The tv is 2 years old , it arrived a day later 1st class Royal Mail .. didn’t think 1st class actually existed any more ! In the mean time looking at the remote closer the batts had been left in and two of the contact springs were only slightly corroded. So sanded them cleaner and did the phone camera test .. it worked!
Amazing customer service from Vision Plus . And the moral is don’t leave batteries in remotes over winter especially in your motor mover hand set.

In this selfish, greedy, money grabbing world, I had little faith in my chance of success when I called to enquire about replacing a gasket in part of my motor home aerial assembly. I'd already had no luck with a couple of suppliers, so thought I'd try Vision Plus.

My call was answered with a friendly greeting, a sympathetic ear, and a proffered solution from a very well informed member of staff. I couldn't have been more pleased. Then to add a further plus to an already 5 star customer service, this person went above and beyond to find me the correct gasket and promptly had it delivered free of charge! I tell you my faith in humanity has been restored. This company is a shining example of what good customer service should be.
